Summary of Responsibilities

Each of the Season Ticket Account Executives play a key role in the managing of existing season ticket holders and building new business relationships that generate new ticket sales. The season tickets department has an annual sales goal in the range of 23,000+ season ticket or 1.8 million total tickets with over $96 million in revenue. Each of the Season Ticket Account Executives at a minimum manages 950+ existing accounts; 3,500 season tickets and $11 million in revenue. Each Season Ticket Account Executives is tasked with exercising their business judgment and sales development skills when renewing and servicing existing accounts. Payment collection, payment plans, and management of the renewal process are critical functions in maintaining our high Season Ticket base.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Manage over 950+ accounts by building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service as their direct contact with the organization.
  • Develop a business needs analysis on each season holder. The AE will then have discretion to sell additional season tickets, group tickets, all-inclusive tickets and individual tickets to meet the needs of the season partner.  
  • Complete an annual season relocation process for the season account holders. Based upon the needs of the season holder, the AE will have discretion to relocate season holder to a more desirable location. Season relocation requires significant communication and negotiation with the Season Holders in finding the right location option, while maintaining flexibility for other sales.
  • Invoice and collect payments from accounts, including setting up payment plans and monitoring compliance.
  • Continue to build relationships by hosting clients at multiple season ticket holder events. AE will decide which clients are invited to each event based upon spend with club, years of service and renewal risks.
  • Game day management of season ticket holder window in box office. AE has authority using his or her business judgment, to provide Season Ticket Holders with additional amenities, discounts and other incentives to maintain the business of the Season Ticket Holder and ensure a positive experience at the ballpark.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sports Management or Marketing; or a combination of experience and education
  • 1-2+ years of experience in sports industry at college level and/or minor/major league level
  • 1-2+ years of experience in sales and service
  • Superior Customer Service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Assertive, competitive, professional, self-motivating work ethic to help exceed sales goals

Education and Experience Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or related field; or a combination of experience and education
  • 2-3+ years of experience in sports industry at college level and/or minor/major league level
  • 2-3+years of experience in sales and service
  • Superior Customer Service and ability to remain under control and handle any upset customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills & time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Excellent self-starter
