Summary of Responsibilities:

The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates for a Part-Time Video Editor. This position will edit video content using Avid Media Composer to be used at Busch Stadium, promotional purposes, online and social media.

This person may also be asked to design, create, and build video graphic elements, and edit story features or elements that may air on Cardinals Insider.

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Edit video content to be used in stadium
  • Edit video content to be used for advertising needs, online and social media
  • Create and design motion graphic elements to be used in a variety of purposes
  • Assist in maintaining an up to date archive of Cardinals game day footage

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Avid Media Composer, or other non-linear editing system
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
  • General knowledge of production

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Video Production or a related field; or a combination of education and years of experience
  • 2+ years on Avid Media Composer
  • 3+ years (AfterEffects & PhotoShop)
