Summary of Responsibilities:

The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates for our Corporate Sales and Marketing Internship position. This intern will assist with the creation and execution of the 35+ theme ticketed events and the 35+ Game Day Promotional Item distribution that are schedule for the 2022 season. They will also assist with the fulfillment of certain elements in the corporate partners' contracts. The person chosen for this position must be available to receive college credit, work a flexible schedule, 24 to 30 hours per week on average, and be willing to work on weekends when the team is in town.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Help execute "detail"(when the promotional items are placed at the gates and around the building prior to gates opening)
  • Help create and execute Theme Nights
  • Assist Corporate Sales and Marketing Account Executive and Coordinators as needed
  • Execute sponsorship elements/promotions

Education and Experience Required:

  • Current enrollment in an accredited program at a College or University with a minimum Junior level status
  • General knowledge of the sports industry
  • General knowledge of marketing field
  • Some customer service experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Current enrollment in an accredited program at a College or University pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field with a minimum Senior level status
  • Excellent customer service skills with retail and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
