Summary of Responsibilities

The Season Ticket Account Executive should possess a vibrant and positive personality with a selfless approach to their key role in the renewal of existing season tickets and driving incremental revenue and ticket sales through upselling and new business development.  The perfect candidate for the Season Ticket Account Executive position should be passionate about customer relationships, sales, and helping fans make life-long memories using Cardinals baseball!

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Manage a significant book of accounts while building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service
  • Develop a needs analysis for each season holder to maximize revenues and retention
  • Complete an annual season relocation and upgrade process for season holders
  • Invoice and collect payments from accounts
  • Build strong relationships with clients at season ticket specific in-park events as well as outside sales and service visits
  • Gameday responsibilities include hosting clients at various appreciation events, visiting clients in seat, and assisting with Season Ticket Holder game day issues.
  • Participate in various outbound sales efforts to maximize incremental revenue

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university¬†
  • 1-2+ years of experience in sports industry
  • 1-2+ years of experience in sales and service
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organization & time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Assertive, competitive, professional, self-motivating work ethic to help exceed sales goals

Education and Experience Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or related field; or a combination of experience and education
  • 2-3+ years of experience in sports industry
  • 2-3+years of experience in sales and service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills & time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Excellent self-starter
