Account Executive-Ticket Partnerships

Summary of Responsibilities:

The principal purpose of the Account Executive, Ticket Partnerships is to establish relationships with high volume ticket partners, grow new revenue streams, and retain current accounts. This position is responsible for establishing new sales opportunities by developing relationships with previous bulk ticket buyers to increase their ticket spend from previous seasons. This Account Executive will work with the Specialist, Ticketing Partnerships to create responsible inventory decks and pricing while determining which partners to procure based on capacity for large volume, and expedient payments. This Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining and evolving current department reports, and is also responsible for maintaining, promoting, and executing fulfillment of other large ticket partners such as the team's Hotel Partnerships.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Procure new ticket sales with ticket partners, driving renewals and growing revenue through frequent contact and communication
  • Oversees and procures new team-related ticket partnerships such as the Cardinals Hotel Partnerships
  • Maintains and develops departmental reports to track sales and forecast renewals of ticket partners
  • AE will take on additional responsibilities within the Ticket Sales Department including but not limited to; the off-season sales process, game-day responsibilities and client relations
  • AE will serve as Cardinals host during pregame and in game events at most home games

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sports Management or Marketing; or a combination of experience and education
  • 1-2+ years of experience in sports industry at college level and/or minor/major league level
  • 1-2+ years of experience in sales and service
  • 1-2+ years of experience working with ticketing software, StubHub, Qcue, and CRM
  • Superior Customer Service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • General understanding of ticket resale market

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or related field; or a combination of experience and education
  • 3+ years of experience in sports industry at college level and/or minor/major league level.
  • 3-5+years of experience in sales and service
  • 3-5+years of experience working in high revenue accounts
  • 3-4+ years of experience working with ticketing software, StubHub, Qcue, and CRM
  • 1-2+ years of experience with creating and implementing ticket programs
  • 1-2+ years of management experience
  • Superior Customer Service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills & time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Strong understanding of ticket resale market
