Baseball Operations Draft Intern

Summary of Responsibilities:

Draft internships is available to help students gain behind the scenes experience of the MLB Draft. This intern will work closely with the baseball operations department to assist with the logistics of the MLB Draft. This intern will support the Baseball Operations staff in coordinating, planning and execution of various tasks during the draft preparation period.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Implement projects using approved processes and procedure
• Provide regular status updates to Baseball Operations and incorporate any feedback
• Support the Baseball Operations staff in coordinating, planning and execution of various tasks during the draft preparation period

Education and Experience Required

• Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a College or University
• Familiarity with modern baseball concepts and rules, analytics and trends in the game
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow development skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
