Summary of Responsibilities:

The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates  to join our front office as a Corporate Sales Account Services Executive.  This position is responsible for contract fulfillment for or corporate sponsors.  This position is also responsible for servicing a significant number of five, six and seven figure agreements which includes fulfillment of: tickets, hospitality, special events, player related elements, sponsor recaps, generating sales leads and day of game requirements.  The Corporate Sales Account Services Executive covers a portion of overall contract fulfillment for several million dollars, adjusted each budget year, in business on the corporate sales/radio sales side of the business in addition to creating and providing programs that support several million dollars, adjusted each budget year, in revenue on the ticket sales side of the business.  The individual in this position will also provide support for Alumni Relations including: Cardinals Fantasy Camps, Alumni Kids Clinics, Opening Day Hall of Famer participation and Hall of Fame induction weekend.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Coordinate, plan and schedule the elements of each assigned Corporate Sales agreement to include: in-stadium advertising, spot writing and media placement, tickets and hospitality fulfillment
  • Complete execution of required game day events and activities which will include: script writing, pre-game ceremony fulfillment and in venue customer visits
  • Assist with Alumni Relations and all events that require their participation.  This includes fulfillment of all elements related to Fantasy Camps, Kids Clinics, Corporate Fantasy Batting practices, Opening Day and Hall of Fame induction weekend
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft Suite to create sponsorship proposals and recaps for Account Executives in preparation for client meetings

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sports Management or Marketing; or a combination of experience and education
  • 1-2+ years of experience in ticket or sponsorship sales and/or services
  • Significant knowledge of the sales and service process, with above average speaking and presentation skills
  • An understanding of the sports industry sales processes and timelines
  • Superior Customer Service

  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales and service experience preferably within the sports industry
  • Complete understanding of the sales and service process with a history of mid to large account relationships and experience servicing customers within the sports industry
  • Proficient in event coordination, management of the client service process, presentation and speaking skills
