Summary of Responsibilities:
The St. Louis Cardinals are currently seeking a Baseball Operations Fellowship based out of their Jupiter, Florida training complex working within the Performance Department. This Fellowship position is designed to provide entry-level baseball Sport Science practitioners with an opportunity to gain applicable experience at the home of the Cardinals' Spring Training, Extended Spring Training and Florida Complex League (FCL) team. Individuals with experience in the collection and manipulation of biomechanical data are encouraged to apply.
While working at the direction of the Jupiter-based Director of Performance and working closely with Technology Integration Coordinator and Performance Specialist at the complex. Responsibilities will be driven mostly by baseball activity taking place at the Jupiter complex and will be closely tied to interaction with Minor League players, many of which are international. Training within the current organizational protocols will be provided upon hire.

Essential Functions of the Job:
- Support Performance staff with activities at Jupiter complex during Extended Spring Training and FCL season
- Communicate effectively with all local staff, coordinators and Jupiter staff
- Ability to learn protocols for testing and training to be carried out with players
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University, or currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
- Strong work ethic and initiative, demonstrated passion for baseball, good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Education & Experience Preferred:
- Conversational in Spanish
- Experience around athletes as a past player, coach, manager, etc.
- Experience with biomechanical data for athletic performance and baseball specific skills
- Background in Functional Movement Systems, OnBaseU and Titleist Performance Institute
- Entry-level Experience in BigQuery, DataStudio and efficiency in leveraging Google Drive
- Experience with grip testing, jump mats, 1080 sprint and Vald technologies
