Group Account Executive, Ticket Sales

Summary of Responsibilities:

Group Sales Account Executives play a key role in the managing of existing group ticket accounts and building new business relationships that generate new group ticket sales. A Group Sales Account Executive prospects and develops on-going relationships with potential customers such as business entities, schools, non-profits, athletic associations, professional associations, etc. for the purpose of selling tickets to 300+ groups. Each of the Group Sales Account Executives exercises their business judgment and uses sales development skills when renewing and servicing these existing accounts, and when prospecting and creating new accounts. Each of the Group Sales Account Executives must continuously communicate with key existing Group Leaders, supporting multiple sales initiatives, planning event logistics, and exhibit a high level of customer service on a year round basis. AEs contribute to the design and delivery of promotional and marketing programs focused on ticket sales.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Regular attendance required
• Ability to work 25% of work hours outdoors sometimes in excessive heat or inclement weather
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, sometime outdoors in excessive heat or inclement weather
• Ability to lift 35-50 lbs to waist height and carry short distances
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays, primarily April through September

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Sports Marketing or Sports Management, Business, Marketing or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service; with a sports team or at sports venue preferred
• Excellent communication skills including professional phone and email etiquette
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office required
• Must have valid driver's license and vehicle to visit customers
