Logistics Crew Member

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Logistics Crew is primarily responsible for maintaining the safety, organization and efficient operation of the loading dock and storage areas. This position will support the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics Coordinator in continued smooth operation of mail and package screening, sorting, distribution and maintaining inventory control. Logistics Crew members will also be responsible for setting up, breaking down and supporting all Special Events at Busch Stadium as well as support Baseball Games. Candidates for this position must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

 Essential Functions of the Job:

• Safely and securely move furniture, set up tables and chairs, stanchions, bike racks and other items as needed.
• Receive, log and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail, packages and items from storage.
• Interact with internal stakeholders such as our janitorial, maintenance, concessions, merchandise and front office.
• Storage space organization

Education and Experience Required for the Position:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 0-1+ years of experience working on a loading dock
• 0-1+ years of experience driving a forklift
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
• Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time

Education and Experience Preferred for the Position:

• Associates degree in Security Operations, Facilities Management/Operations, or related field; or combination of years of experience and education
• 1-2+ years of vocational or technical training after high school

• 2+ years of experience working on a loading dock
• 1-2+ years of experience driving a forklift
• Ability to follow an event order layout
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lift 70lbs or more
• Strong ability to work while standing for extended periods of time
