MiL Clubhouse Attendant

Summary of Responsibilities:

To maintain a clean and properly equipped clubhouse, while meeting the needs of players, staff, and front office personnel during Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, GCL season, and Instructional League

 

  • This is a seasonal hourly position
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Knowledge of the inner workings of a minor league clubhouse
  • Experience handling and following proper inventory procedures
  • Executing transportation logistics as required
  • Clean and maintain uniforms, equipment, clubhouse, bathrooms, & kitchens
  • Employee is expected to perform any reasonable work requested that falls within the qualification, but not specifically described
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure

Candidates will need to show evidence of the following:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, players, and front office personnel
  • Team-building ability
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and patience
  • Organizational skills
  • Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record

Education and Experience Desired:

  • High School diploma or higher
  • 1+ year of clubhouse attendant experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, helpful but not required
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word
