Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

Summary of Responsibilities:

The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates for their on-site Part-time Graphic Design position. This position is responsible for assisting with the graphic design needs of the club. These needs include such things as advertisements, brochures, seasonal campaigns, in-stadium graphics, sales collateral, promotional items, etc. This individual must have a firm understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and a great eye for detail in the work produced.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Assist all departments with creating graphics to achieve their goals
• Assist creative team in designing tickets, promotional item packaging, banners, pockets schedules, brochures, and other sales and promotional material for the club
• Assist creative team in creating visual concepts and preparing assets for in-stadium entertainment including headshots, scoreboard graphics, and LED creative

Education and Experience Required:

• 1-3+ years of professional experience in graphic design
• Proficient in the latest version of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Ability to conceptualize and create any design request
• Proven ability to work as a team player
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Desire to learn and grow professionally in the sports industry

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Highly proficient in creating graphics for print and web through the use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Video/animation and/or web experience a plus
• Knowledge in additional design/Adobe programs a plus (After Effects, etc)
