Scoreboard Operator (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates for the Scoreboard Operator position. These technicians work in the scoreboard control room on Cardinal's game days in the areas of camera operation, video production, audio, replay, character generation, and other areas as assigned.

Job Duties:

• Operates equipment in the scoreboard control room
• Understands the functions and operation of Control Room gear
• Assures all In-house Content, Brand Content and Partner Logos are "Ready for Air"
• Assists with the development and preparation of any content, video and / or graphic, towards game entertainment
• Provides assistance to the Lead staff and/or department if / when needed
• Fulfill all other duties as assigned
• Ability to act quickly and solve problems in a Live Production environment

Education and Experience Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working in live production environment
• Familiarity with live video production, audio, replay, etc.
• General baseball knowledge

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Proficient skills in operating a camera, video switcher, audio board, replay devise, character generator, or other live production equipment.
• 2+ years of working in a live production environment
