Special Events Internship

Job Summary:

Join our Special Events team and gain hands-on experience in a hospitality focused and customer-oriented environment! As a Special Events intern, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of both internal and external special events. Our team manages more than 400 events and photo sessions each year, offering you a unique opportunity to build real-world skills. This internship requires availability on days, nights, and weekends. The expected average hours per week are 12-17 total hours. This internship will run from March 2026 - August 2026.

Job Duties:

• Assist in both the production of events and the sales and marketing of special events venues at Busch Stadium for non-game day events
• Communicate with current and prospective clients by e-mail and phone
• Support the department coordinators in event production and will serve as onsite staff at events
• Manage the department's event equipment, photo library and other department physical and electronic resources
• May conduct research projects to gain market insight

Education and Experience Required:

• Current enrollment in a college or university with a degree emphasis in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum Junior-level academic status
• Experience with both internal and external communication methods including email, phone, and written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand on feet and walk comfortably for long periods of time
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Prior experience in events, sales, or marketing
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience
• Experience working in fast-paced or high-volume environments
• Familiarity with CRM systems, event management software, or project management tools
