Team Fredbird Member (Part-Time)

Summary of Responsibilities:

Team Fredbird Members are responsible for fulfilling sponsorship promotions during home games, assisting with theme night entertainment, hosting pre-game activities around the ballpark, and running fan entertainment activities throughout the season. In addition to in-game responsibilities, this position will support a variety of departments within the organization at events as needed and represent the Cardinals at events throughout the community.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Encourage fan participation in activities and promotions throughout the park
• Interview fans prior to the game and between innings
• Work with Fredbird throughout the games to provide a fun, family friendly atmosphere for the fans
• Assist with theme night entertainment
• Help departments in the organization with a variety of events (ex: Cards Care 6k, Kids Club Party, Weather Day, etc.)
• Make community appearances throughout the calendar year

Education and Experience Required:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1-2+ years of experience in cheer & dance
• 1-2+ years of experience in marketing & promotions
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work night, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to stand an walk comfortably for long periods of time

Education and Experience Preferred:

• 20+ years of age
• 2+ years of experience in cheer & dance
• 2+ years of experience in marketing & promotions
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work night, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to stand an walk comfortably for long periods of time, especially in high temperatures
